Don't Let Me Die

A newborn baby squirrel that I found on the ground underneath a palm tree today. The mom was no where in sight and I waited about twenty minutes to see if anything would happen. After about 20 minutes I called over a police officer on a bike and he called animal rescue.

This squirrel was so new, his/her eyes hadn't even opened yet and it would trip over blades of grass. I have a feeling that he/she was 3-4 weeks old because, at that time, squirrels have fur and developed ears, but eyes are not yet open.

Don't worry, I didn't touch it.
